i need one

but not to clock it up, i am needing to lower it to have clearance for the driveshaft beside the tranny.

does anyone know if one of the rings like this:

will alllow the case to be clocked down, rather than upwards?

and yes i have contacted the mfg but was hoping someone on here would have some insight

Do a 2-piece driveshaft! :D

I've got one of Shawn's clocking rings on my truck. It has a Ford driver side drop NP208. I had to have him custom make it by countersinking the holes from the opposite side so it would clock mine up. He did not even know if it would work since he had only done one before and never heard back from the guy. You are going to need the same thing done if you want to clock a passenger side drop down. Basically you need the stud holes on the opposite side of the countersunk holes which is what putting the countersunk holes on the opposite side of the ring basically does.
