3/4" heims for panhard bar?

Would the 3/4" aircraft grade (28K lbs) heims be enough for a panhard bar (3-link). My guess would be yes, but I wasn't sure if anyone had real-word experience with them breaking when used as a panhard.

I've got a 3/4"-3/4" chromo heim on the axle end of my panhard rod, and a poly bushing assembly on the frame end. No problems so far.

Gotcha. I was thinking of making my panhard out of the aluminum I got for links, but I will probably have to put a bend in it to dodge the oilpan. Looks like my 3rd link will be on the passenger side too. I have almost ZERO room to put a truss over the axle on the drivers side, and there is not a very good way to attach the link w/o one. Plus, the 3rd link and panhard would probably interfere.

Tight spaces I tell ya.

I had to put a couple of bends in mine too in order to keep the truck as low as possible and still clear the diff and crossmember. Drag link is on top, panhard rod on bottom.

Heim joints? I can get 3/4" aircraft grade heims for good prices. Actually have a few for sale. They are Aurora's, # RAM-12 and RAB-12 (lefty's). They run about $50 ea/ new. I will sell them for $25 ea/ with jamb nuts. $20/ea if you buy 4.

They are used, but you could never tell it.

Those XM's are priced right. Not sure what is so special about the Aurora one's I have that makes them sell for $52 each new, but somebody must like them.
