Anyone know anywhere local I can get a 3/8" Fuel line quick connect fitting that would attach a -6 AN line to a fuel rail feed?

Here is a picture of what i'm talking about.

I ordered them from Speedway, but the 3/8 one i got is junk and won't stay clipped on. 5/16 one works fine. I'm trying to find one somewhere tomorrow. I dont know of hardly any Race/Tuner shops in the Wilson/Greenville/Raleigh area that would have this sitting on the shelf, Any help getting one tomorrow would be great. I need to load the Jeep on the trailer, and this one fitting is holding me up!!!

:bounce2:

Thanks

Guy had one of those blow off at the last ecors race. We had just spent 20 min working on his buggy, when it poped off, spewing gas all over the motor. If it happend when he first came in and the exhaust was hot..well.

I've put more of those toegether by pushing the hose over the ridge and using a hose clamp than I have using those things (with no problems). His was the second I've seen fail in person.

No idea where to get them other than summit/jegs.

Thanks Jim,

After reading that, and me now being completely not confident in these things staying attached, I may just shove my SS hose on the rails and double clamp it. Thanks for your .02.

I ended up putting a stock type connect fitting back on the rail, which had two barbs about 3/4" apart, and pushed the SS braided line over that and double clamped it.

I dont really like it, but i feel confident it will hold.

Ideally, if i had more time, I would just tig weld an aluminum fititng to the rail itself.
