I've been dragging my feet about this jk for a while but I'm about ready to pull the trigger. I've decided on going Rockkrawler there is only about 600 bucks difference between the superflex kit with mid arms and their 3 link longarm kit.
I know there are advantages of having each, the main thing that worrys me about the 3 link is breaking that top mount or link on the trail. So I'm all ears what do y'all think? Thanks Jason Johnson

You're not gonna break a solid RK arm. And I seriously doubt you'll break the link mount off of the front housing. Are you going with the rear as well?

Yes that's what I'm thinking about doing front and rear

They flex their ass off, but can I suggest maybe talking to Gerald over at Savvy offroad before you pull the trigger? They don't have a lot of "kits" on the market and tend to do more with factory length control arms on coil springs than I've seen a lot of RK fan boys do.

That "mid Arm" bull shit is just some way to church up the fact the JK has pretty damn long control arms compared to a TJ.

Another reason I'm not a fan of RK, their springs are short as hell. I'm giving up travel having spring retainers at both ends because of their 16" rear coil springs with no load on them, when Currie ones are 19.5".

Thanks I'll do that, I also want to outboard my rear shocks those factory lower mounts are like anchors

If you ever think you might go to coilovers or stretch the rear I wouldn't. If you don't think their is any possibility of doing so, then hell yeah, very noticeable ride and body roll control.

Yes those factory rear shock mounts suck, lol. I trimmed about 2 1/2" off of mine when I fabbed up my own. They are kinda ugly and crude considering they are my first welding project on my jeep.

Up front if you plan on sticking to a coilspring/shock combo you need to change the lower mounts for 2 reasons. 1: anything over about 10" of travel or big body shocks you're gonna have contact with the shock body and the frame. 2 the lower mount needs to have the bolt going parallel for the lower shock mounting hole. It prevents it from binding during its range of motion.
