Naw, they do make it look faster though.
My old friend bought a 1970 Cuda, from a member of the "Black Panthers" of West Philly back in 1978. I got them, when he sold the car a few months later.
I had these on several Plymouth Dusters over the years.
They were made by Cal-Custom back in the late 60's/early 70's.
I always liked them, & they were just the ticket to cover up the ugly hood bulge I had to make, to accommodate WELDZILLA
I have my Nomex suit on, so let the flaming begin!

All you need now is the fake Buick vents on the sides of the hood and chrome door sill protector on every seam in the body! Oh and maybe a spoiler on the roll bar.

I bent the mounts up a bit once.

The mess I made of my hood with the ball-peen is nicely covered by these things.

Now that they are there, I actually think they look pretty good though.

They came with either the 440, or 426 Hemi.
