315/75/16s on a Ram 2500 4x4?

Im running that size on my truck. Its a 97 ram 3500 with 2 inch leveling kit. You wont need the leveling kit for the tires to clear the sheet metal but the control arms take chunks out of the tread when I turn to full lock. If you get some deeper offset wheels you wont have a problem. If your not interested in buying new wheels then stick with 285's.

You run 315's on a 3500? The tires must have the profile of a motorcycle tire.. :p

my friend ran 285's on stock wheels on a 1500 no rubbing at all, if that helps. he did trim about an inch off the plastic bumper valance though.

I ran 315's on my 01 2500 with a 2 inch leveling spacer. I think the wheels had 3.5 inchs of back spacing, No rubbing anywhere

Looking at some tires. Anyone running 315/75/16s on a 3/4 ton Dodge 4x4.
Not interested in a lift. Will these fit?
The 305 on the rims you got from me are the biggest you want to go.
When new they would rub a little but Ok to run .

Im running 36 swamper radials on my '95 2500 with a 2 inch leveling kit and the only trimming i had to do was on the pinch weld under the fender and its very minor trimming.

The guy I bought my '01 Ram 2500 from said the previous set of tires were 315s. He didnt mention anything about rubbing, but said it killed the fuel mileage (3.54 gears). He also had the 2" levelling kit. He sold it to me with 285s on it. I assume he had been the factory aluminum wheels with the 315s, but who knows.

If you read his post he does not want a lift. and he is asking if 315/75/16s on a 3/4 ton Dodge 4x4. (Stock no lift)

The question was, will they fit? NO they will not!

The question was not what you run and what lift you have or need.
