been trolling here and pirate for a few months now, i got a 86 4runner at the beginning of the month. ive been working to get it back drivable but my next project is going to be the tires, it has 31x1050's on it now. i want to go to 33x1050 km2's but im not sure how everything will work with no lift and sas this winter. should I hold off on the 33's untill i can do 12.50 with the sas? if so I need 2 31's. I have trimmed the fenders front and rear, rust removal :flipoff2:,

i run the 33x10.50 BFG muds on an xj and they work out great. they are wide enough for offroad when aired down and skinny enough to stuff in the fenders. and they save my steering box on road.

thats one reason im looking at the 33/1050 skinny but you can air it down and get a foot print. anyone run these on a runner? what trimming do I need, im going to do the floorboard within the next two weeks, finaly got the truck running!

You could fit 38/11.50 boggers with a little love from a BFH & a sawzall, I :poop: you not.

X2....those tires are the shit. They might possibly be the only size of the bogger thats worth a :poop:

stick with the 31's till you finished. otherwise when your done you will regret buying 33/10.50's when that $ could have went to your tire of choice. and the only diff between a 31 and a 33 is really 1".

I've run the 34s and they are a good tire but...once you do the sass you will hate youself for getting small tires. When you do the sass put your stock rears up front and then get some 63"s or Dakota springs for the rear. Then will help of some trimming and a BFH you can run 36"s. I just woudn't waste the cash on anything smaller that you will have to replace.

i dont know what im going to do with the rears yet, i know RUF but looked at f150 havent heard of the dakota's. im going to trim some more soon, floorboard is for sure.
