You will have to trim the crap out of those fenders.
But which axle do you have in the back?
Also what gears are in them?

alot depends on type of lift brand.......also ur gonna need to TRIM. and u can pull them to the mall but ur tranny is gonna hate u and ur mpg will be around 12.....and ur offroad days are over. expect to regear if u go 35's. My cherokee had problems pulling 285's offroad

I've got 35s with like maybe 3" in rear and 4 up front. Trimmed and they fit. I've got the d30 and 8.25, seems fine. If you want a pic let me know

^ no way u can pull those though...........
huh, what's that mean?
here is how it looks....the tires are 35x12.50x16.5

(this is how i bought it, i did NOT do the cutting job....yes i know it looks like crap but i haven't done anything with it yet...and those yellow stickers are already gone)

it means u cant pull those 35's offroad worth a damn....if he goes 35's on stock axles he will need to regear or he can cruise the mall and kill his tranny......thats what i meant

ur crazy, a 4.0/aw4 in low range will not pull 35's off road easily in 4lo. i took my old cherokee one time to uRE with 285's as soon as i got them.........it never went back till i got gears.

3.54's and a 4.0 auto will pull 35's but u will bind the hell out of the aw4 and the performance will be 200%times weaker than normal and ur AW4 will die soon. dont tell this guy that his aw4 will be livable with 3.54's and 35's bc ur sending him down a bad bad bad road that leads to nothing good. NO way anyone on here wheels on the reg on 35's and stock gears....if so dont wheel with me bc ur asking for breakage and will be killing ur jeep. IN short...................you just cant do it...{rant off}

I ran 33's on stock everything on my 89, and by 175K miles you could tell that the torque converter was getting tired.

The 97 on 35's has the auto and it's alright. my other 97 has 31's and stock gears and i can notice when i'm on the highway.

What kind of wheeling are you looking to do with this?

Heres mine the last time I was at URE 35s 4.5" lift

35's and 3.55s not a very good idea if you want a AW-4 to live long. Mine has been geared to 4.56(I wish someone would make 4.88s for a 8.25)

+1 more saying gear it.

I'm on 33s on stock driveline and have been "getting by" until I can afford gears.

4-lo with 33s feels about like stock 4-hi used to feel.

Wheeling 35s on 3.55s is asking for a lot of wheelspin, to kill your tranny, and quite likely break axles... All those downsides coupled with the fact that it will drive like a pig.

Search is your friend! Built mine without asking too many Questions, specially That Question!!:shaking:
Trying to keep this on the cheap too

BTW I'm helping him with this build, just doesn't believe me. :fuck-you:

Heres mine:flipoff2:

Uhh yea i had 35" and stock axles with 3.55 gears/aw4/4.0l and had no problems offroad....and i drove it for a year....not to mention i dog my aw4 through the gears and its still holding up strong...the only problem i had was on the highway my jeep didnt like to cruise any faster than 60mph unless i was in the gas...and it could still push the speedo way past the numbers..
you will be fine!
