Thank you Warn M8000! Saved my ass....even though it was cracking and sounded like it was about to break tugging me out.

Look at that last pic! Was stuck up to the leaf spring!!! (Right spring)
 
Not trying to be a wiseass, but... how come the front tires weren't spraying glop all over the way the rears were?

what do you mean? i love the stuff, and as easy as it is to rev a zuk motor with a weber on it, that makes it more the fun. the worst part is the clean-up, not of the vehicle, of the glob of mud ni my ear.

but i think the guy in the runnah need to learn about 4hi, amybe even 4lo
 
I've seen you down on 51 before I believe. My girl friend just moved from that area this weekend. That's one tall runner! I can't imagine that thing on a windy day! Cool ride though!

It's called not in 4WD... look at both sides of the toy. Look like he was puddle jumping in 2WD. :confused:

I must admit I used to run mud alot......I really got tired of people complaining when i left a parking spot as I REFUSED to wash my junk after a bout with the brown slime!

its a weight-saving tactic--> high speed, less drag :flipoff2:

but does seem that it was in 2wd according to the front fenders. good looking runner,.
 
Yes, I hit the pit in 2wd. I was stuck immediatly. The substance that caught me is called muck...maybe some of you wise asses have heard of it. The muck contained a 15 x 15 foot area. I got my shoe pulled off twice. I tried to get out in 2wd, but was going no where. I put it in 4 high and low and shoved that board under my back right tire and still went nowhere....this open diff you guys claim I have is locked with a detroit. You can only do so much before you just cant get out.

but silly me for forgetting to lock my hubs :p

I am sure working it back and forth helped out your axle wrap problem as well..... :rolleyes: You get a traction bar on there yet?
 
hahaha. I'm just glad I didn't break a U joint....that would have been just dandy.

Nope, no traction bar yet. I guess I'm going to sell my sound system to afford that....you'll hear from me soon for that and probably to take the lift blocks off.
 
Just remember to put it in 4LO first next time. :D
