found a set of these and mickey thompson classic rims for $500. Just wondering if anyone has wheeled a set of the radials to know how they do/hold up on the trail compaired to the byassed ply tire? i am currently running a set of byassed tsl's. Willl the radial irock do any better than my tsl's ? Any input and opinions are welcome. Thanks.

i bought a brand new set of 41 Irok Radials and took them directly back to 4wheel Parts and Traded them! They had about an inch mabye less of tread and seemed just as soft as the bias tires. Im pretty sure all they do is screw ya on ya meats when you buy a radial Irok. If you are spending time on the street i wouldnt even buy them. They were fast as hell on the street. In MY personal opinion these are junk tires the only iroks i would own would be 49s

ummm there arent many tires with more than an inch of tread. The radial is going to be better on the street, but an irok will die VERY fast on the street no matter what it is. Depends on the wheeling you do, whether one will do better than the other...my personal opinion (having owned iroks, tsls, sxs, and back to iroks) i will tell you that the iroks have outperformed the others in a wheeling sense, I was not happy at all with the tsls on the rocks. I dont know about driving bc my rig never sees the road. I dont know about mud either, i never go in it so I dont know. Trails and rocks though the Irok has been the best on my rig. get beadlocks though, they will lose beads pretty easily.

my truck is not a DD so im not to concerned about how it wears on the road. I usually only drive it on the road to the trails im gonna be riding. I have seen the irock perform for myself and like the tire. i just want to know if anyone has ran the radial on the trail and how it compares to the byassed version. my byassed tsl's i have now seem slick on the rocks. i am all for getting the radial irocks if they will perform as well or better than my tsl's. (the only reason im considering radials is b/c of the smokin deal for $500)

Ive never run the radials so I dont know, but I do know of people who do. If those tires are near new, I would jump on that as it is a SMOKING deal and you can deal with the slight difference in performance offroad for that kind of deal. The bias tires are going to be better offroad, but by how much i dont know.

WCU would be proud.....

Radials should be a bit softer than bias, and they should wear (not were or ware) faster, the difference is they are safer (in theory) and more comfortable.

snip...I started typing a long thread about tire construction but suffice to say $500 is a good price if there is tread left. They will probably not be as hard or durable or puncturre resistant as a bias but they are a good tire (even though I am not as in love with the IROK as most, whadda I know I run Boggers)

for 500 bones id run them. Who cares, especially if you are on a budget, if they are round and hold air they will get you on the trail for a lot less money, and you wont be on here talkin about what tires are better.
