4.0 wrangler conversion

need to know how much trouble it would be to drop in a 4.0 in my 90 wrangler it has 4.2 in it,and manual tranny

You will need the wiring harness, computer, etc. from the donor vehicle. Make sure you get the dash stuff with the lights, etc. if you can. It will make it a while hell of a lot easier for you.

You probably will want to get the tranny/tcase too since you can upgrade from your stock stuff as well.

I read somewhere that thats a pretty hard swap. would be to swap in a 4.3. the chassis had alot of changes going to the 4.0 Im not 100% sure just remember reading it somewhere unless im thinking about something else.
