4:1 issues

Last ride at Harlan in November the 4:1 in my 231 started making a lot of noise at the end of the trip. Pulled it apart last week and found this.

And this appears to be the cuplrit. It looks as if the weld broke and things got loose.

hoping they cover this since I only had approx 8 rides on the case.
 
Yup, TeraLow.
Sent them an Email yesterday. They responded today with a RMA# for me to send the case to them to have it replaced under warranty. Good customer service is hard to find these days.

I agree w/ the customer service comment. I got a case from a friend with a 23 spline input, brand new. I needed a 21 spline input. Teralow swapped the 23 spline for a 21 spline for free.
 
recieved my Terra low back today. No charge. Excellent customer service and communication during the process.

Now if my Tranny adapter wasn't on back order...:shaking:
 
Had a simular experience with Tera, I broke a gear in my 4:1. I sent them pictures and they sent me a new kit. no charge
Great customer service
 
I've been conidering a Tera. I know of all of the documented failures, but these reports of their customer service just might put my mind at ease.
