i am putting a 4.3 in my samurai and recently purchased an older used gotpropane kit for it. I am told it has the larger 450 mixer that they used previously. Now i want to put a turbo on it and am wondering what has to be done to the fuel side to make it work? any pics of setups? What size turbo would yuns recommend?

Why a turbo 4.3? what power levels? what budget? If you're going to try to do a junkyard build to simply add a turbo, I'd spare the money for more meaningful modifications.

There are turbo kits all over for the 4.3, but I couldn't begin to give you advice on using one with propane. As easily as a Vortec 4.3 can be sourced it seems more logical to me to use the vortec setup and remain gasoline fueled. It'll run off camber, fuel is easily sourced at the exact same spot you stop to fill the tow rig (and of course you retain the ability to refuel on the trail) and there is little gueswork involved in forced induction since it's been done eleventy-billlion times.

I don't know what fuel system you may be looking at, but the original spider style injector harness doesn't seem that it would yield itself to added cylinder pressure. I may be wrong. Turbo's are different creatures too. Unless you have a good XFI system it can get tricky to just throw a turbo on anything.
