I have a 2006 LJ with an automatic 42RLE transmission with about 134k on the clock. Just wanted to pick everyone's brain before I dump money into a new transmission. It has lost the reverse gear and the reverse gear only. Everything else works as it should. Shifts fine in drive and even still gets into over drive. Has anyone dealt with this or have any insight into it? Fingers crossed it isn't toast.
