I have had this problem for a few months and it seems to be getting worse so I need to fix is sooner or later.
98 Jeep Cherokee, 4.0l auto
I turn on the key and half the time it starts normal.
Other half of the time I turn the key and nothing....sometimes if I rotate the key harder it will start/most times, however, if I rotate the steering wheel 1/4 turn back and forth while holding the key on it will start.
Doesn't seem to care what position the wheels are in when I stop.
Once it is started it runs fine.
Doesn't seem to matter if I am flat, pointed up/down whatever.
Any ideas...loose wire? Bad Ground?
any help appreciated.
