4L60E, can you manually lock torque converter

1997 4L60E, but a 1993 engine and computer. Torque converter doesn't seem to lock up. I've heard that the 93 version basically just gets an on or off signal, but the 97 version gets a Pulse Width Modulated signal. I'd like to know if I can make my 4L60E lock up somehow.

I haven't ever seen one with PWM but I may have just never paid attention to it. As long as it is an on/off command with just a completed circuit or not you can just use a on/off 2position switch. I have seen it done before on a truck for mud bogs but you just have to remember to unlock it when you are coming to a stop so it does not stall, but I believe he also unlocked before each shift with the manual valvebody.
