ok, heres the scenario. have 2x 700r4 and 2x D300 (running a set and have spares), have this setup in my current CJ. Happy with this setup behind the 350 tbi. Will soon swap in a vortec 6.0. I have the option of picking up a 2wd 4l80e with the motor (seeing differing opinions of 2wd and 4wd). This will cause the usual backlash of exising parts not fitting, but will it make performance suffer with the gen3 motor and the 700? Will I kill either or both (700 or 300) locked up with 37's. I know that the 4l80e is stronger, but what are reasonable tcase options?
Need to decide quickly to whether or not should get this tranny- what would be a good price for it?
