There will also be a DVD of the events during the day for sale (will be mailed) for $5!
Im sure we will all go somewhere afterward to eat out as well, but thats your choice! Also, Alcohol is allowed as long as you bring it in a cooler and keep them out of sight during the events. And make sure you through away the cans in the provided trash cans!!! We are allowed to check IDs as well, to protect our land for future 4x4 events.
***************ALL VEHICLES ALLOWED***************
~~Anybody that wants to ride some of our trails or wants us to come along on some of your trails, just give me a email (pmoody0814@hotmail.com)

Wow. Two Moodys on the board. This can only mean bad things! ;) Jimi, get out of whatever it is you're doing and go. You said Gene's b-day is the 23rd, that means you're free the 24th! It's your brother for God's sake!

Pictures will be available soon, ask for them and i will email them to you, drag strip is still in progress.
Events go as follows:
Creek Bend Time Trial
Truck Tug of War
Stop & Go Challenge
Hill Climb
War Zone Time Trial
Mud Drag Race
Capture the Flag

you do not have to do all events, only if you wanna will Over All Trophy, but there are individual trophies for each event.
Only 15trucks allowed so hurry and let us know so we can fit you in and if you may need to stay the night before, let us know, we may be able to arrange that. starts at 10:00am and cookout at lunch.
hope to hear from you soon!

I'm definitely down for coming there for the weekend over memorial day.....what are some options as far as staying over for the night(s)? I know I am around 5 hours or so from there, so i would definietely need to stay over, hotels? campgrounds? food? gas? this info would greatly help with getting people there.......i posted this event in the calendar, but there is also so much going on that weekend....i'm thinking of wheeling uwharrie friday, coming there saturday, and then heading up to harlan for sunday and monday.

sorry if any spelling mistakes, been hanging out with jack black all night

There are many Gas stations on the way here, the is one within 2 miles of trials. Also there is one hotel right of the exit to the trials, and Kings Mt. Park Campgrounds are 2miles away from trials as well(actually a dirt back road straight from the park to the trials, so you don't even have to get on the highway!
If you call us and talk with one of us, we also could let a few people crash at our homes! not many Restaurants near trail, they are all about 10-20min away.
Also possible be going to Uwharrie 18th of april with couple of friends.
If you wanna come see the trials earlier we can set that up, or you can just come down any day(if discussed) and help plan out some details. the money is really just to pay for cookout and Trophies, and doesn't even really cover that! Take it easy people, or if all else fails, hit it hard!

I85 south, hwy 321 south till you come into clover, at only stoplight, go straight... Piggly Wiggly is on your right (quarter mile)
66Bronco, where abouts do you live and what days can you help. we will be out there next fri/sat/sun with tractor and chainsaws, cleaning up things, and flaggin the trails!
jrraw23, sounds good, hope to see you there, just call if you on your way.
buckshot500, totally fine if your family comes, just have to really watch after the little ones if there are any. what ages? you will have to sign a waver for all of them. Just the one car load price will do.. $10. basically it pays for trophies and grill out food! try to stay together as we will be focused on the events. it will be fun, and not to many hard core trials though. you can maybe even help time as well, we also need spotters (passengers to make sure there is not cheating) if any of you are over 18yr. thanks and where around clover do you live?

everyone that thinks they may be comming, please post a reply with just a number of vehicles actually in the competition with you, we are getting right at 15 vehicles so i need to save the place of the first 15. thanks

i'll have to come check this place out. I didn't know there was another place to ride in clover besides my place.

This is NOT a professional competition. Just a bunch of guys wanting to mud along with other average guys and their trucks/jeeps. The competition is just to test our rigs for the real trails, to win trophies, and have a cookout. That way we can meet new people to 4x4 with.
Im just saying this because some people seem scared to actually enter the competition, when you have better rigs than me and my friends. We like to get stuck, and you don't have to compete in every event. I know my buddies wont compete in the deeper water events, there stock still. Just come out, have fun, and you decide which ones you are competing in, like i said, there is a trophy for each individual event as well. And a cookout!
Also, the cookout will be during the Tug of war and Mud bog drag races. That way we can have some entertainment while we chow down some grub!
Im thinking we are at 10trucks right now, FYI
