The 2011 SEMA Show is underway at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Toyota will show customized Tacoma & Tundra models, each one packed with aftermarket equipment made to make the great outdoors even greater. Among others there's a Toyota Tacoma TRD T|X Baja Series Limited Edition Pickup, expected in showrooms in spring 2012, and a Toyota Tundra Ultimate Motocross Truck.
A 2012 Toyota Camry Daytona 500 Pace Car, the first non-GM car to pace the “Great American Race” will appear in the flesh before it leads the field at the start of the 54th running of the Daytona 500 in February.

Shea Nutt and Team Soul II Sole are walking the 2011 Dallas/Fort Worth 3-Day for the Cure this November 4-6. The ladies have raised over $18,000 for the cause! For more information or to donate, visit their team page.

Don't miss the Veterans' Day Commemorative Ride is November 11 & 12 at Art Lilley Campground at Uwharrie National Forest. A group photo of retired and active duty military will be taken at 3pm on Saturday.

The 4x4cross Season closer at Mooresville Dragway with Back to Back Pull on the Strip, Burnouts, 4x4 & Diesel Drags will be November 12.

Trollhole's Toyota 4x4 Parts Swap will be on Saturday, November 12, at 9am. Located at 1512A Roper Mountain Road in Greenville, SC, there will be 30,000 sq/ft of open warehouse and way more concrete than anyone would ever need. Marshall will be cooking hot dogs all day and he'll have the football games on a giant 12-ft screen. Rain or shine, anybody can come and everyone is welcome.

The 3rd Annual Rockvember Benefit Bash will be the weekend of November 18-20 at Uwharrie Stables in Troy, North Carolina. There will be a Rock Crawl, Mud Race, Big Tire 1/16 mile Pull, Grudge Pull, and the High Speed Course will be open for free riding. This is a charity event for the families of wounded and fallen soldiers, sponsored by Wilson Off-road & Bragg4x4 Club. Entry is $20 for the weekend and includes camping.

Warn is donating a new Warn VR8000 for the "Friend of Tread Lightly!" promotion at SEMA. Sign up to be a "Friend" of Tread Lightly! between Wednesday, October 26, and the last day of the SEMA trade show in Las Vegas (Nov. 4), either by stopping by the TL! booth or going to the TL! Facebook page and signing up. The winner will be announced on November 5th. Only those who sign up as 'friends' between now and November 4 are qualified, only two days left!

Pre-running starts Friday for the 44th Tecate SCORE Baja 1000. Racers From 32 states and 15 countries, to date, have signed up to compete in this epic race in Ensenada, Mexico, November 17-20. With over 250 entries expected to compete in 36 Pro and 6 Sportsman classes for cars, trucks, motorcycles and ATVs, the race itself starts on Friday, Nov. 18. This year’s race will start for the 37th time in Ensenada and run a rugged 692.82-mile course before finishing in Ensenada for the 21st time.
