The Lego Unimog is not a toy and, at one-twelfth the size of the real thing, it’s also the biggest Technic model ever. None of that means you can't add it to your Christmas list!

Events
The 5th Annual RBD is coming up! Ricky B's birthday celebration and the "Biggest Wheelin' Party of the Year!" will roll into Morris Mountain ORV park in Heflin, AL, on November 25. RBD's 2nd annual hill climb “...Run what ya brung” competition will begin at 10am, Saturday, on Los Primos with $1000 to the winner! Ricky Berry (of Ricky B Photography) has extended the invitation to the sickest Hill Assaulting, Rock Bouncing, Buggy Launching rigs that the South has to offer! The Saturday morning course will be either Hells Revenge or WFO and the Afternoon course will be all of Boatramp. Each course will have a Time Limit. Entry fee is in addition to the park admission and will be taken up at the 1st course on Saturday. There will be a payout, amount depending on how many compete. All vehicles must be caged with a 4 or 5 point harness, fire extinguisher and a quality padded helmet. Winch points will be provided and scoring is for time or distance.

Congrats to Andy McMillin and his father Scott McMillin on their win at the 44th Tecate SCORE Baja 1000! The Team BFGoodrich father and son took turns at the wheel and made the 692.82-mile loop in 14 hours and 51 minutes, averaging 47.12 miles per hour throughout the course. Team BFGoodrich Tires claimed eight of the top 10 overall spots.

The finish to the 44th Annual SCORE Baja 1000 was one of the closest in recent memory. Throughout the last 300 miles, Andy McMillin (No.31 Ford Raptor), Nick Vanderwey (No. 84 Chevy Silverado) and Bryce Menzies (No.70 Ford F-150) were trading places and rubbing bumpers. Vanderwey was first to the finish line, but McMillin came in less than two minutes behind and earned the victory with the corrected times. Menzies was third to the finish line, two minutes behind McMillin.

Skip has also announced another cash bounty on the "3D" hill climb. He's kicking in $50 to start it off and entry is $20. You can practice all you want but must pay the fee and take no more than 5 minutes, with Skip as a witness, to win the money. If you make it you get the fifty and your $20 back and all the money in the pool (from failed attempts). Good luck!

Volkswagen's R performance sub-brand - "The future is diesel and all-wheel-drive" ...while hybrids have their place, the fuel savings of hybrid-electric systems pale in comparison to weight reduction, but the high cost of advanced composites – namely carbon fiber – is still too high. So that means more aluminum is on the way, and partnered with a high-performance diesel powerplant, enthusiasts should be able to have their tire-shredding cake and eat less at the pump in the process.
