The 4x4Cross/Mud Life Magazine Weekend of Insanity kicks off tomorrow night at the Mooresville Dragway.
This is just the beginning of a weekend packed with four events in four locations, culminating in FOUR NATIONAL THROTTLE KING QUALIFIERS...
...not to mention Ricky B's Mud Girl Competition!

Saturday Night, Aug 27 - Lexington Muddy Playground Throwdown Party and Ricky B's Mud Girl Competition in Lexington, NC

The East Coast Offroad Racing Series will be home in NC this weekend, bringing the action to the Devils' Playground near Silver Valley, NC. Rain or shine!
The SSgt Daniel Zerbe Memorial Jeep will be on display for this event.
This venue has always been very popular with racers and spectators alike. DPG offers great spectating with very easy access to the rock sections, hills, jumps, and fast straight sections to get your speed fix! The site is small, at a mere 45 acres, but is laid out very well for parking, pits, and racing!

Registration, Tech Inspection, Barbie Jeep Race and Driver’s meeting.
The ever-popular Barbie Jeep race starts at 7pm and is sponsored by the Carolina Trail Blazers. Grown men will challenge each other to a steep downhill race on kid's power wheels toys! Any STOCK power wheels vehicle (no frame stretching!) with factory plastic wheels is allowed. Contestants can remove the motor and batteries to save weight and to let the wheels 'free spin'. Entry is free, with paid ECORS admission. Long pants, long sleeve shirts and a Helmet WILL BE REQUIRED. To be eligible to win the CTB contingency, stop by the CTB Tent and grab a sticker for your 'Barbie' rig. The winner will receive $100.00 from the Carolina Trail Blazers!
Saturday, August 27
Heat races+ for each class, to determine starting order in the main race, will begin at 8am* with the UTV class. The UTV Main race will start at 12:30pm. The Awards Ceremony will take place at 9pm.
+Starting position for the heat races will be drawn at the driver's meeting!
*Actual start times may be adjusted depending on weather, course conditions, running times, etc.
Admission for spectators is $10, kids 12 and under are free.
NC4x4 will have live coverage of the day's events!
If you're out to watch in person, be sure to stop by the NC4x4 tent to say hi or maybe even pick up some swag.
