Can you give me an address or something to put in my gps to see what kinda drive I'm looking at? Thanks

I'm only 53 miles away. I may just have to join the club. I'm sitting on 35's but only because of a sweet deal. My cj is open diff front and rear but I do have a winch for safe measures.

Don't I need a weekend pass ? Is the out post where I get it? Never been wheel-in at ure my son and I may come down on Saturday.

eldorado outpost

Me and the family loaded up in the jeep today. Wanted to ride and see how it is in uwharrie. Got a day pass. Did not get a map, left my printed map at home. Found myself wheeling on old 390. LOL After about 15 minutes and the trail getting worse and worse. had my mirrors on the ground and one point.
My wife threatnig to kill me. I found a point that I had to turn back. I made it to the peak climb and had to turn around. After I made it back to the parking area, I was proud of my little YJ on 31 inch. a/t tires, open diff. So we headed over to 553 and rode trail 96. made it through with very little resistance. I know probly not a big deal to most ppl. But that was my first time out and we really enjoyed it. And we will be back. will try to make labor day weekend meet. Took some pics but havent downloaded any yet. What a blast. Think I might become an addict to this stuff. :driver: :bounce2:

It's looking like I'll be able to make this trip. I won't know for sure for another week or two, but things are looking good. :driver:

Looks like we will be in Arrowhead #27 for sure.
The facilities at group camp may not be back up and running in time for Labor day.

Subscribed...and I'm a definite maybe. Bronco will be back together this weekend, open front and rear, no winch on 35's.

As you may know GPS is not always accurate. If it doesn't take you right there - keep going on 109 until you see the BP in the middle of nowhere :) Or you can stop and ask for directions but I know that's hard for some men :p
