5.2 magnum in a cj???

How difficult would this be? I have the complete donor truck and an about dead amc 360, so would this be worthwhile. The truck is a 98 Ram by the way...:confused:
 
I started doing this in a YJ a while back. I had a complete 5.2 from 94 ZJ. Just never got around to doing it. I did find some nice motor mounts (builder type) and i think they were from ruff stuff, or blue torch.
 
As long as you're using a complete donor rig drivetrain and wiring harness, the swap should be a fairly simple one.
 
my amc 360 has 187k on the clock and the 5.2 has 56k. I am hoping to see a little power difference. Not to mention how cool it will be to have fuel injection..:driver:
 
You may or may not notice a ton of power difference, but the drivability will definately be like night and day.
 
Its not to bad, I got my motor mounts from www.novak-adapt.com and also had a complete donor rig, granted mine is a yj frame not a cj, but still pretty much the same deal, you will have to use a mopar transmission also, The power from the 5.2 is great
