5mge swap in a 2nd gen toyota

I'm about to swap a 5mge cressida engine into my 2ndgen p/u. Has anyone around here done this before?? I need some help!
 
Hi I noticed yer post on 4x4wire too. No direct advice except to check out 4RnrRick's 4 million posts... and good luck.
I do remember that there is an issue with the oil pan, it's different between the cressida and supra motors, you needt he supra pan in order to fit. Also need a reasonable amount of lift if I remember right.
 
the cressida pan should work for what I have read. I'm going to do a sas at the same time as the engine swap.I should have no issues with the oil pan clearing anyway. I'm runnin 38"s so I should by high enough.
 
anyone know where I can get a clutch and pressure plate for the 5mge??????
from an earily supra---I may also need the bell housing from the manual tranny, not sure but mine may work.
 
its wont work, thats not even a toyota motor its a supra motor. On another less sarcastic note. I worked out all the logistics out about it when i was gonna put the 7mgte in my old runna. We can figure it out
