i have been looking at 6 inch lifts for my mega cab and if i dont sell it i will probably go ahead and lift it. i have lookied at skyjacker, superlift, fabtech, and bds. i am kinda leaning toward the bds. anyone installed any of their kits? any opinions and ideas? id love to do a coilover conversion on the front with long arms but i dont think that is in the budget!:driver:

the fabtech is only a 4.5 dont be fooled by the advertising . had one on my dodge and it only came with a 1" block for the back. the bds is a nice kit. it comes with longer front arms and new uppers with the upper control arm bracket spacer. keeps the tire centered in the fender nicely . i have a customer thats wanting one taken off thats like new if u are interested you can call me at 828 217 1602

I would go with BDS also. I dealt with them on my old truck and they have great customer service and the long arms are much better than short arms you will be amazed how much better they ride than a short arm kit. Plus if Im not mistaken they have some kind of really good warranty on there parts that covers anything that wears out or breaks.

I have had the BDS on my power wagon for 1.5yrs. It is a 4" lift for the power wagon but works out to 6" for the 2500's. It has done very well off road. If you can get disconnects for the front you will be very happy with it's flex. It does ride nicely on the road. I had a wreck in Dec and torched a few bushings and BDS gave me a full set of new bushings for $65.00. Only negatives are rear leaf susp is a little stiff and I believe it cost alot more than the short arms.

I know it wasn't in your list of options, but I have a rough country x-series 5 inch on mine and it ended up lifting it 6 inches. I have had no problems out of it and the ride is better than stock. The only issue I had was the blocks are not designed for the dodge springs which use two center pins instead of one, so I bought a 4" set from top gun customz. When I bought it, the x-series was all that was offered. Now they are offering a standard kit for a couple hundred dollars less. The only difference is the x-series has adjustable control arms, which I really see no benefit to. I will put another one of these on the next truck I buy.

yes i was kinda looking at the rough country also. i think its hard to beat there price and the quality seems to have gotten a lot better.
