I have a 6 liter in my truggy that is running really poorly at low rpms. Seems to be loading up w/ fuel. Jim at Jim's performance did the tune (Great guy to deal with, btw), but after many conversations w/ him, I think I need to take it to a local shop w/ a dyno to get the air/fuel ratio dialed in.

Can any body recommend anyone in the W/S-GSO area to do this for me?

Turbo tune in Greensboro if they are still open, I know the orig. owner dead a while back. If not the next nearest I've heard of is in Char.

Thanks Chris.

there is a shop here in conover. he does alot of tunes on chevy motors. ill get his number tomorrow. i think the name is dyno sports.

Carolina auto masters took care of my problems. I would recommend them to anybody local for your ECM tunes. The guys there are friendly, knowledgeable, and very approachable w/ any questions I had.

The VSS was not turned off/bypassed when it was programmed, so the ECM thought it was idling all the time. Meaning it would never allow the motor enough fuel which in turn really screwed w/ the timing and air/fuel ratios.
