6-Lug 14 Bolt

I just purchased a truck today (wont pick up for another week) and it has a 6-lug 14 Bolt rear; is there any demand for this axle or should I plan on scraping it when I install the 14 bolt?

It is a good upgrade for the 1/2 ton 10 bolt trucks from 88 to 98.
