Does anyone know approx. how much a stock 63 inch leafspring free end moves forward/rearward during it's range of movement? I'm trying to decide if i want to go to a bearing type spring slider, or just stay with the standard spring shackle. I know there are differences that play into the equation, i'm just looking a ball park range. Thanks

Anyone out there using 63 inch springs?

Here's my 94 with 63" rears.

Nice yota bro... When are we going to get back in the shop to do the the front? Almost have the front end done on the zj just need to burn it all in... oh yha AND I NEED COILOVER SPRINGS

I would say about 5 or 6 inches from ride height to flexed, It mainly depends on the shackle angle at ride height.

I love how that looks, and that is exactly what i am doing to my rear! just curious what you have done to the front suspension?

I'm currently swapping in 86 rear Toyota (48") springs up front. Moved the steering box forward last weekend, hopeing to get the springs on this weekend. Waiting on a set of bananna shackles from Bud Built.
