7.3 turbo diesel, OIL EVERYWHERE?

never worked on a diesel, so I consider myself diesel dumb

Oil is pouring out from everywhere underneath

everything I read says

end cap o-ring in the high pressure oil pump, or bad high pressure line, or maybe a bad hpop

okay where in the hell is the hpop located, in the pan?, on the block?
 
have you checked your oil level check it to see if it smells like diesel fuel if so you might have a injector problem or a cracked head letting fuel fill up the crank case....
 
check the oil line to the turbo.

If you start doing this, be very careful when removing the top fuel line from the filter bowl.

I broke mine this morning, Just barely twisted the fitting on the line. Be sure to take out the torx screws instead.

The part that broke on mine is the Fuel pressure return housing or FPR. Rock auto has replacements for about 28$ but Guzzles diesel o-rings has an upgrade Here

wouldn't say there known for it, they just have them and no one else does. at least not in the light truck market.

Did you check the turbo pedestal mount, id say its more common from there, but its hard to tell how much oil your talking about with out seeing it.
