July 31st at 6 pm at Kernersville Hams
Park in the Prime Care parking lot.

Hoping for a great turnout, figure a few extra people at each meet will be great. Last time I believe we had

Im sure Im forgetting some folks, forgive me for that just been a long week and I can't quite get my memory working right.
Regardless, this time I would like to have more folks, more the better.
Campbell should be bringing the RTI ramp if all goes well, so that should make things interesting. Once we get enough folks interested in a regular scheduled meet or even possibly events (URE trips, etc...) I know Campbell08 was talking about possibly talking to the guys at Olivers about putting something together once we got a large enough group.

I was in the red XJ, me and my wife(Landie and Mary). I'm going to the Jeepin' for the cure event on the 31st but should be back in time for meet and greet that evening.:bounce2: I will drive the YJ this time so everyone will know the Green Sand Demon.

Ah thats right, Good deal, yeah for whatever reason your forum name escaped me. Good meeting you and look forward to seeing you again this time around.
 
I'm now a maybe I have to go down and see all my family down in GA either the weekend of the 24th or the 31st. They'll all be down from NJ at my parents.

Should be alot of fun, really surprised more people aren't wanting to come, that or maybe all the people rsvping will actually come, last time the poll indicated we would have had alot more folks, a good deal many didn't show. Kind of disapointing.

Talked to James, apparently most the ppl from Jons shop are heading to NOPI in atlanta so they won't be coming out, u know who I mean though, just a pain to list folks. Ironically though Jon himself isn't going, so Ill see if he wants to come to this meet.

Probably talk to Dustin and a few other people who don't use this forum aswell, just been busy lately.
 
il be there with my freshly re-geared truck (thanks to campbell08)
we need to get a trip to URE goin man i wanna test out my new setup..
any way il be there for sure!

i had a family emergency last time and couldnt make it. ill try to get to this one. im trying to get my buddy to join the site, ill probably ride in his XJ if we come. i just cant drive my rig to kernersville. maybe the one after this should be somewhere else, like keep a rotation so its fair to everyone.
 
im with 77greenmachine on this one we should try and get something together once a month or so and alternate places throughout the triad area..

I had no idea you were on here, Taking the jeep to the Flats the 24th, if you can make it, you should. We could definately organize a URE meet sometime though. You shoulda went when we did, you coulda rode with us lol, Coreys beater jeep man, poured about a 12 pack of old beers into the radiator, hell, you've seen it, thing was falling apart and he was still givin her hell.

Oh yeah, you gonna be providing some music? Lol. I think its kareoke night or something at hams. Bring the Banjo and scare off some folks

Sall good, Im open to alternating locations, but because we know the primecare lot will be empty, and are wanting to do the RTI this time around, I believe the Kernersville location is best for now.

What location are you folks thinking of in particular?

Greensboro? Hams? Hooters? Buffalos? East Coast Wings?
Oakridge? JP Looneys? Rio Grande?
Winston? Hooters? The Mall?
Highpoint? Hooters? Cook out?
Stokesdale? BJs? Huddle House?

Just random things I thought of... let me know your goal here.

Also, I don't drive my current beater at all, havent even handled the title work yet and its been a few months. Trailer Queen for my own safety. Lol
 
yeah this time id keep the current location. but a rotation would be great. just throwing this out here, if anyone has a decent sized pasture or something we could do it there if these meetings really started to take off. i know a guy who will cater for about $8 a head. but we would have to really start getting some good turn outs to do this. but just throwing it out there.
im trying to gain acces to about 40 acres with trails behind my house.

and the 12 pack in the radiator thing, hilarious!!

Yeah, I think that would be cool but unfortunately nobody has offered up there land for us to use yet, could all bring something and have a cookout. One guy brings Hamburgers and Buns the next guy some hotdogs and buns, the next guy some cheap domestic beer (where permitted), list goes on.

As for catering, don't really see it as being necessary, I would be fine with getting together and grilling some burgers or even ordering pizza if the location were right.

As for the 12 pack, u really had to see it, he didn't plan much when we left, but his jeep was held together by ratchet straps from the get go, so the jeep was destined for disaster.
 
yea buyyin that parts truck tomoro, i doubt il have the new motor in by the 31st but i will definitly have it geared right and the 4x4 hooked up (finally!) but ne way i may be a super noob for asking but wtf is an rti ramp btw?lol

yeah your right about the catering, if everyone brought something then we could just grill out. i can get a tow behind grill if this ever happens. and i think i will have the land too here soon. its a big corn field but we could use one corner of it and have a decent amount of trails to goof off on.
but for now we'll just focus on public places. looking forward to coming out this time.

I am game for this....but i dont kno if i will be working or not....I work at burke street pizza in winston.......i usually work nights on the weekend...so let me kno

will try to get that night off and make an apearence....
