Will a 350 with a turbo 350 trans. fit in a 70 CJ5? i was told the driveshaft would be too short. The jeep now has 2.5 inches of lift.

I don't recall what Auto was on it, but I saw a Guy with a SOA CJ5, 350 and Auto... and yes with a T-case too. D-shaft was like 12" long Always wondered how that panned out for him when he flexed it....

its been done many times.
It does leave a short dshaft, but not much worse than a 304/th400/qtrac in a later model.
