Hey guys I got a 78 bronco and I was wanting to take the doors off but really don't see an easy way to do that. Anyone got any ideas to help me get the doors off and on with out much work.
On my 78 F150 the hinge pins and bushings were worn out anyway, so I put in new bushings and got a bolt that would fit them pretty snug but still turn. When I pull the doors I just loosen the nut on the bolt and slip the bolt out (The bolt takes the place of the hinge pin) I also used a trailer connector to the door speakers so I can pull it apart easy.
That way seems better to me since you dont have to loosen the three bolts which could get the door out of alignment if not put back exactly the way it was.
