I am thinking about taking the all of the wires out of my 79 CJ5and buying a wiring kit. Any recomendations for what wiring kit to buy?

Painless Wiring makes a nice kit. Big $ though. Check out Quadretec.com,part# 17016.00. Later.

Why? Whats wrong with it? I wouldnt replace the whole harness unless its been burnt or rodents have chewed it up. You can remove what other people have added and fix the wiring back to origanal.

Do you know anyone who does that around the winston-salem area. I have tried wiring before and i only made things worse. I really need someone who knows what they are doing to go through it and clean the wires up and remove all of the ones that are thier from the previous owner that went to accesories that are no longer in the jeep.

I would be willing to do the wiring for you. but i work slow. I would have to see it b4 i price it but im sure it will be cheaper than buying a painless. I am in pilot mountain and my shop is in mt. airy.
