I don't weld.... ok I do, but not very well at all. not well enough to do an axle swap.

If I provided all the parts, what is the typical labor cost y'all are paying to get an 8.8 swapped in your YJs?

Is it true that under acceleration you get a bad vibration because of the offset of the yoke?

Thanks for any input. The axles on my YJ are looking rough and i need to do something.

I've put in a bunch of 8.8 into Tjs and Yjs recently

I usually charge $1000, that includes everything , axle, brackets, labor, brake lines etc. The only other costs you need to consider is the price to regear the front axle to match the 4.10 of the 8.8

All the ones i've installed don't vibrate at all, they stop much better due to rear discs, and they are WAY stronger

thats a good price considering it includes the axle, and a TJ is much more difficult than a YJ.

just labor on a YJ you supply all parts -simply weld perches, shocks mounts and bolt up, bleed brakes ect. $250

I also charge about $1000 to install the 8.8 into a YJ. Gearing is a option, you can usally find one to match your front. And the TJ's are alot more.
