I have a 1981 toyota, I have a 2" shackle in the rear and just added a 3" leaf spring in the front(stupedlift ) with the stock shackle. Would like to know if i need to change the steering arm? I know i have seen a lot of lifted yota's with the S shaped steering arm.
i have a 81 toyota and i added 2 more leafs in the fornt and a two inch block and now the steering is hitting the leaf springs is there any suggestions on how to fix this thanks

Yea, get rid of the block before you kill yourself. Lift blocks on the front are extremely dangerous. Do it right. You need new springs and a crossover steering like was mentioned above. You'll need a steering box out of an IFS truck. The easiest way to do it is to buy a kit from someone like trail gear or the like. But you absolutely need to get rid of that front block!
Do crossover steering if you can Kevin. Marlin, All-Pro, and Trail-Gear will all have crossover steering kits. You will need a steering box off a newer IFS truck (86-95). Well worth the money to upgrade. Guess you didn't end up selling the truck?
