My son just bought him a 1989 ranger 4x4, he’s wanting to fix up before he turns 16 and he’s wanting to buy and do everything himself with very little supervision so I thought somebody here may have one, it’s a stock ford ranger so he’s interested in bumpers, lift, toolbox, etc.etc. Any help would be appreciated and the closer to Cleveland and Rutherford counties would be great
 
^^ this! A small spacer block in the front and add a leaf in the rear with some fender trimming Will easily fit 31-32” tires! At that point that truck will go everywhere it was ever designed to and probably places that you as a parent will cuss your child for Ask me how I know lol

I bought a 1985 ford ranger when I was 15 years old and fixed it up so when I turned 16 it would be ready, I put a 4” skyjacker lift on it and 31’s, he’s seen pictures of it and wants the same thing, it’s a 5 speed 2.9, I told him he would not want to go over a 31” tire for the reasons you said as well
