Bought this truck about 5 months ago from my dad. I have done alot of work to it since. Plans are get it running good so I put a weber carb on it that was a big help more power and runs great, Im wanting to build something to drive on the road and weekend wheel. So 63" Chevys in the rear, 4" springs up front, 5.29 gears, lockers, high steer, 36" Iroks, Tube Bed, also this truck has NO RUST in frame or floor boards. If anybody knows any tips and tricks and do's and dont's of building a yota let me know this is my first

Well everything was going good at this point got my IFS steering box on, High Steer on, Then something broke in my IFS box lost steering, so got another steering box from Brian in VA put it on then the power steering pump went out put a new one now everythings back to working.

Not done with the winch plate got to add some gussets and going to add some tubing and a stinger (and a winch some day)
 
Dont think ill make it to mtn city, but I got one 3rd member aussie locked with 5.29's going in the front, and alot more work to come, still need one more set of 5.29's though
 
2 nice rigs yall got. Good to see more 1st gens alive and kicking.

Did a little work this weekend, Moved the front axle foward 1", Trimed fenders, Dupli-Color Bedliner sprayed around fender and bottom of doors, and I odered a few more parts

Looking good man can't wait to hit the trail with ya. Looking for a Toyota 4 runner v6 auto t-case adapted if anyone has one let me know.
 
Got my Rear locker in today but still waiting on the install kit
Already have my aussie locker and 5.29's in the front third

Got some work done this weekend on my truck got the IFS Rear axle under it with my rear disc brakes and thanks to ECGS I got my 3rd member in it to (Yukon Grizzly locker with 5.29's)
Also got my 85 front axle under it just gotta finish up the front brakes will get some pics of it up soon

Well I finally took it Uwharrie and tried it out, still not done with it yet but I couldnt wait, I seen that I got to gear my T-Case and the weber carb dont like to run on inclines so eventually Propane.

Finally finished the sheet metal for the tube bed and got in on today, still got a couple more braces to put in then I'll be close to being done here is the progress so far

the bed turned out sharp, im not a big fan of tube beds (generaly they dont end up funtional) but its right on the money in my book
