84 chevy k10 lift question

i am about to buy a lift for my truck its a 84 chevy k10 with a 350 i love the look of a 6inch lift but i am wondering if i need to lengthen my drive shaft or can i just get the transfer case drop kit when i tried to do research on it half of them said you had to lenghten the drive shaft an the other half said it worked fine can some one please help me was hoping to order it tonight or tomm

I just put a 6" lift on my 83 k10 suburban and I don't see any issues! Now I have not tryed to flex it out! But all is fine going down the road

6" will be fine on rear front u will have to watch out for the shaft separating

if i got the transfer case drop kit would it help with the front drive shaft

OK, correction I just looked and my rear drive shaft is pulled out of the input shaft by 1 an 3/8 of an inch. I am putting a 5.9 Cummins in mine with a th400 so I think I will be able to get that back all the way in the input shaft. I am not crawling with it, but if I were, I would be worryed about pulling it out on a full flex

Drop the case and roll with it unless like stated above ur crawling it
