88 yota 22r head

Might be buying a 88 toyota that's lifted on 33s well the #4 spark plug hole is striped out according to the current owner. I think he's going to try and chase the threads but if that don't work I'll have to buy another head. If I don't have alot of money to spend where can I find a good head?

1988 toyota head

I dont know how much your wanting to spend but I have one that come off my 1988 toyota 4x4 with a 22re EFI fuel injection Engine, I spun a main bearing a couple weeks ago and i put a whole nother engine in it. I know the head is good, I will sell it for $75. and there is nothing wrong with it at all. head gasket and put it on your block.. call/text,email . They make a spark plug thread repair kit. Basically a timesert type thing for spark plugs.

Have you talked to a machine shop about fixing it? Surely it can be fixed and/or jimmied up good for a cheap price....
