89 chevy ifs front axle problem

i went driving earlier on some old loggin roads and after a while my steering wheel kept pulling to the left pretty bad, on the road it was wobbling pretty bad. when i got back to my house i jacked it up and the front passenger tire wont make a full rotation with out some help. i noticed the boots on either side of the axle are dry rotted and some mud/water probably got in there and is one of the reasons its messed up, but i wont know the full diagnosis until i can get the tire off and i have to get a special lugnut socket. any ideas or suggestions on what could have happened would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like you have a bad wheel bearing. Simple to change out too but while you're at it, since you're CV boots sound like they are trashed, you may as well replace them too.
