I need to know what years of ford trucks ran the more desireable 31 spline big bearing axle shafts. I need the ones with a 5x 5.5" lug spacing. Was there a length difference in the shafts?

If you have a set of shafts pm me or I'll trade someone a set of 9" 31 spline bb 5x4.5" axle shafts for the ones I need.

Is everybody gone or what? I'd like to go get these tomorrow from a yard if possible.

Ford Trucks from 7? - 90 F100/F150. 2 ways to identify, look at the outside flange - the 31 splines will have a dimple with two holes on either side and the shafts will not taper, the 28 splines will have a square looking thing and the shaft will taper.

The trucks to my knowledge should all be big bearing 31 spline.

When you say the shafts, you're talking about the axle shaft itself or the tubing on the housing? I have a current 31 spline shaft that is about .250 bigger in diameter at the bearing ID from the other 2 31 spline shafts that I can't use and tapers twice before the splines. The other two came out of a truck with 5x4.5 lug spacing and the shafts themselves have no taper. I don't remember what truck Greg pulled them out of but he had a hard time finding the correct brake brackets.
