90 JEEP Cherokee

i like the bumper..never seen anyone put the caps back on like that.

I would have plated the uni a little where i was going to put the recovery point..They are weak and welding a place to hook there wont help. Just watch it for stress.

yeah i put a plate under the tow hooks welded it to the frame and than welded the tow hooks on that way it would not pull the frame.

X2 on the bumper. It almost looks like it was meant to be that way... or at least like you took the stock bumper off something a lot smaller and made it fit.

Every time I see another XJ build thread, it makes me wish I hadn't let mine go. Have fun with it!

i could but i want to save money it will cost me more in rods and steel to do it but i could have a one of a kind bu if i get one i will mod it lol.

wiring

I am wanting to hook up gauges in the jeep but i need a wiring diagram to find my oil wire temp wire and fuel wire. than i need to know how to hook up a MPH gauge to it also.

I'll have to dig through my old hard drives, but I think I've got that diagram in PDF format somewhere. I'll try to check tonight. You know Jack Tuttle? I know you Cove boys stick close!

yeah i need a dash wiring digram to wire my fuel gauge, water temp, oil press, volt.
I have the mechanical guages that are oil press. and water temp i need to know where to place my lines. it is a 90 XJ in line 6 4.0.

Buggy's gone. Jack traded it for a bike. Go figure! Yeah, it had some problems stopping, too. I'm looking for the diagram now. Shoot me a PM with your email address.

yeah didnt work i got a diagram from dumplin and and i am going to try and use steel instead of aluminum. Hey let me know when that forum sticker comes.

Man if getting electrodes is a problem I just unearthed the better part of a 50 lb box of lincoln 6011 in my shop at work. I have no clue how old it is but it sparks up and lays a decent bead (have done no destructive testing). I wouldn't use it for anything structural, but a roof rack would be perfect.

I'll send you 10 lbs for the price of shipping if you want, then you've just gotta find the scrap steel to build the rack.

archduke,

I am in boone all the time man on the weekends.. isnt Vilas like right outside of Boone past the Skating Ring? I could pick it up for him if that would be cool with you..
