Been collecting parts the past couple months to do a SAS on my 91 Explorer. Going to start swapping them in here before to much longer.
Going with a radius arm setup. That should hopefully work pretty decently.
Here is what I got so far.
Front hp44 with new brakes, 4.88 gears, spartan locker, and Ruff Stuff diff cover.
Rear 9" with 4.88 gears, powertrax locker, Ruff Stuff diff guard and axle simple swap kit, and disc brakes.
Parts from James Duff. Extended radius arms, bolt on coil buckets, 5.5" EB springs, lower coil retainers, and bolt on track bar bracket.
Also get 4 12" travel and 2 10" James Duff shocks and a set of bolt on shock hoops.
Wheels with rock rings.
1 ton TRE kit.
Also going to be swapping in a doubler kit at the same time. Got a D.D. Machine doubler kit.
Going to ditch my electric compressor for the oba and picked up a York at the junkyard and rebuilt it and put a serpentine clutch on it.
