92 F150 drum brake conversion

I have a 92 f150 4x4, its got the 8.8 rear axle. One of the drum brakes blew out spring broke and everything, i was wondering where i could get disc brakes that would be an easy swap onto my truck. i hate the drum brakes and was told i could use the disc and calipers from an explorer is this true? any tips or advice would be great

Explorers have a 5x4.5 lug pattern. Your truck should have 4x5.5 lug pattern so I don't think it will work. Maybe a newer 8.8 in a F-150

yea, just starting to look into it, its not my daily driver so tryin to take it slow and find what i need
