ok i got a miss after 5 mins of driving it gets worst and backfires and loses power and cuts off.
As soon as i start it again runs fine for another 5 mins starts it all over again. any ideas what it could be try everything i could think of

It's got new plugs, cap, rotor, coil, fuel filter, fuel pump and tps.

look to see if you have an exhaust leak, probly a crack in the manifold.... i had a 4.0 zj that did the same thing once it warmed up... ended up being a crack in the manifold that some PO JB welded up

its werid soon as it backfires and dies i can start it back up right away and runs great for less then 5 mins then it does again

not sure about your year 4.0 but what about the EGR Solenoid? or was that just on the renix motors?

I know they go bad and cause similar problems.

went to pull apart today and just about ecery senor on a 4.0 and going to start with C P S then fuel pessure reg so on until it runs right
