Trying to help a pal...
94 YJ 4.0 Engine, Auto Tranny around 100K, haven't even looked at it yet, just going by the description I was given over the phone....
Jeep runs fine cold.. but as it warms up there is a "grinding or a winding" noise and it has a hard time going, especially going up a hill or such. Just He said he barely got it home the other day, put in in 4WD he said it didn't really seem to make much difference if any. I'm thinking its somewhere in the transmission.
My plan is... check/change the trans fluid to see how dark it is, and check/clean the screen and go from there..
Anyone got any advice?
