Inside the dash, underneath the steering column is a little metal canister, about the size of a thimble, taped to the wiring harness. I need to find out what this is and what it does. The reason I'm asking is this thing stays very hot with or without the truck running. Even with the key out it stays hot. Any ideas? Thanks.
