Does anyone know if there are any differences in the front differentials, other than ratio? I know that some had hubs and some did not. I am wanting to regear mine (99 model) to 4.10 and would like to just switch the whole thing out for one with factory 4.10's in it.
 
i know some of the Level II rangers have 4.10's. but i would guess those would be hard to come by in a wrecking yard or CL.

I have looked at therangerstation and got quite a bit of good information from there. it seems that the axles will be a direct bolt in, the only differences being in the axle shaft itself and i should be able to use either the 98-99 with vacuum hubs or the 2000-newer without hubs.

I also have found a wrecked truck that is being parted out, the guy priced the axles, I asked when I could pick them up, and havent heard from him since. guess he isnt wanting cash as bad as most people...
