Like most TJ's my radiator started to leak badly, so I figured I would replace it. While I was at it I thought I would replace the thermostat, hoses and the water pump since it has about 80K miles on it. I went down to NAPA and ordered all the parts and found out the water pump was made in China. I called the Jeep dealer to get a quote on a MOPAR water pump, and it was almost 4 times as much, and they couldn't tell me where it was made. Anyone have any experience with NAPA water pumps, any complaints? For all I know the MOPAR ones are made at the same factory in China that the NAPA one is. I also looked at a FLOWKOOLER hi flow water pump which is about the same price as a MOPAR one, they claim its mostly made in the US and Japan.
