My JeepNerd tag is gonna look a little funny on the back of this until it runs out I guess!!

Bought a 93 Toyota Land Cruiser (FJ80) yesterday up in Boone. 137k miles....FACTORY locking Front & Rear Diffs! :driver:

Yeah...that is the reason it got bought, $4700, and an engine that has a great reputation. Needs some cosmetic body work, which is not an issue, and I will probably have have the seats recovered or replaced just to make em look new!

Will have it gone thru, end to end and fix the little stuff and then that gives me time to think about if I want to bother with a lift kit or not. I know I want MT type tires, step rail/rock rails, and some sort of winch setup.

Oh...the YJ is for SALE now, no longer for Trade! Sent a couple PMs on it so far!

YotaNerd? RokYacht...RockYawt....hmmm, what to replace it with.

wow, that's a hell of a deal on a somewhat rare truck (factory e lockers). very nice! my fj62 left with a friend to go live in florida last week.:(

Automatic and Leather I guess?
Im sure who ever had it got rid of it cause the gas...either way that looks like a steal from the pic.

Don't even fuck around. leave it stock and put some Volvo portals and 36's under it. done.

Sam, you keep geting this purdy stuff, or making it purdy, and you'll never put it on the trail!

Thinking of hitting URE with it next weekend before it closes for the season!! :)

Yeah, getting the factory locking diffs is what sold me, will take more/closer pics tomorrow.

There is some rust around window on the rear hatch, right rear corner on bumper is bent. It has some other little cosmetic stuff that will get fixed and repaint the whole thing white again.

Prob leave the stock bumpers on there, but I do want to add a front hitch so I can put a winch on to move front/rear! Buddy of mine has some rims with Goodyear MTRs that I might try to lowball him on...if not, BFG M/Ts are coming. (Might try to wait/get the NEW MT pattern!)

This will be a 90-95% daily driver but I do plan on wheeling it at URE, DPG, Callantee, etc. Kinda fits all my needs, DD, can tow my camper, can DRIVE to the trails, wheel and with my fingers crossed, not break and thus drive home.

Jeep sold this afternoon, thank you mr 83Bronco/Brad!

Will be hanging out at Ih8mud and other LC80 boards that I can find good info on. Will be looking at mild lifts possibly, not sure it is "worth" the megabucks for 1-2.x of lift esp if I can fit 32-33s under there stock.

Fun fun....

Sam
